1930's US ARMY OFFICER SHIRT UNIFORM
This is a US Army officer uniform shirt. As used in the 1920's. The item featured here has rank insignia attached to the shoulder area. Two pockets
were placed on the chest area. With light brown plastic buttons.
The construction was surprisingly comfortable. The design was actually better than that employed during WWII.
The rank of the soldier is shown here. It was a major. The insignia is of pin-back construction and is marked "Sterling" on the back.
The manufacturer of the shirt was "Arrow", a company which still in business today. The tag is affixed to the inside of the collar. In addition,
the size of the shirt is stamped in black ink.
