US AIR FORCE SATEEN VIETNAM WAR UNIFORM
This is a US Air Force poplin shirt. Four pocket construction with green, plastic buttons. When the shirt is
closed the buttons are not visible. This was designed so that the shirt would not snag on bushes when
going through the jungle. the shirt should have two white tags. It appears they have been removed.
The shirt was originally long sleeves. It was a common practice to shorten the sleeves. The shirt
also has theater made rank patches. These type of patches were not authorized for wear and are hard to find.
