US ARMY VIETNAM WAR TUNIC UNIFORM
This is a US Army slant pocket combat shirt. As used during the Vietnam war. The earlier versions of the shirt were constructed of poplin. Of four
pocket construction. With green plastic buttons.
The slant in the pockets was designed to allow the soldier to access the contents of the pockets while wearing the load bearing suspenders.
The uniform has a nametag and a "US Army" tag. Two white tags are sewn to the interior. one of the tags contains instructions for care.
The other tag has contract related data, which is very important for militaria collectors.
