WWII US ARMY WINTER PARKA - MOUNTAIN TROOPS
This is a US Army winter parka. As employed during WWII. Of canvis construction. Double
sided, with one side being light green and the other being white. Oversized so the soldier
was able to put the parka over the equipment if so desired.
Four pockets were available. With large, green plastic buttons. This sample has the
"ruptured duck" patch sewn to the breast area. This indicates that the owner was discharhed
from the service. The parka was issued to Mountain Troops.
The cap has four metal snaps. Aluminum construction avoids the snaps from getting rust.
