Vietnam War US Air Force Security Police Badge -
This is security police qualification badge. As issued by the Air Force. Awarded to officers and
enlisted men who have successfully completed security police courses. In the case of officers the
requirements state that they must have completed the classes and have a minimum of 6 months in
the field.
Enlisted men requirements are the same as the officers.
The basic badge entailed a probationary period of one year.
The design of the badge consists of an eagle with the wings fully spread. Laurels are placed
to each side of the eagle. Clutch back construction.
