US Army Air Force B-24 J Bomb Release Switch -
This is a US Army field gear item. As issued during World War two. This is the switch that was placed on the
B-24 bomber to allow bombs to be dropped on a target. It was the job of the bombardier to release the
bombs when the target was sighted.
