US Marine Corps Field Burner Stove - Model 1942 -
This is a US Army field gear item. As issued during World War two. This is a US Marine Corps large field stove.
It was also employed as a heater. The main problem with this system is that if the flame went out the compressed
fuel remained coming out. if a soldier decided to re-ignite the flame the fumes could ignite and blow up the
tent.

pressurize the fuel in the tank. With a black painted wooden handle. Brass body. The design
of the metal base is flat, this allowed the user to stand on the base to stabilize the pump.
The hose is made of rubber and has a metal cap at the end.
The carrying box is of sturdy construction. It has plywood walls painted OD green. Each corner is
