I have come into possession of US helmet. how much is it worth? The value of a hat or helmet depends on several factors. Perhaps one of the most important things is the condition of the item. The better the condition the more likely the value will increase.

I have searched all over the place and I cannot find a helmet that matches mine. Why? The United States had several variations of helmets. We have several examples in our US Helmet collection. Check that area and see if you can find it.


The helmet is rusty and/or dirty. how can I clean it? We recomend that you do not clean the helmet. You may cause damage to it if it is cleaned improperly. You are better off leaving the item alone.


How can I tell how old the helmet is? Some helmets have their date of manufacture stamped on the inside. However, things are not always this simple. When no date is present the best way to establish the date of a helmet is to learn its manufacturing characteristics.
