This is a US Bolo fighting knife. As issued during WWII to the US Marine Corps. Manufactured by Village Blacksmith.
The handle is made of wood and is held together by three large rivets.
The scabbard is of leather construction. Very heavy duty. The neck is enforces with a section of brass held in place by
three rivets. The back has a leather section that holds the belt wire. The leather section is secured by four rivets.
