This is a theater made fighting knife. As created during WWII. Of aircraft aluminum construction. The handle has the classical knuckle duster design. However it is a little modified in the sense that it has a vertical section that divides the handle in two distinctive sections. Approximate length is 13 inches.

The story behind the knife, as told to us, is that the person was a sailor in the South Pacific. He had access to the machine shop in the ship so he fashioned this knife from aircraft spare parts.

The blade is of double edge construction. There are no markings found in the blade or the handle. The design of the handle ressembles the ones used by trench knives in WWI.
