This is an RH 4 hunting knife. Manufactured in the 1940's. One in a series of knives manufactured by
the PAL/Remington company.
The pommel is of aluminum construction. It is followed by a series of brown leather rings that are compressed
together to form the handle. The crossguard is almost non-existent.
The blade is of single edge construction. A blood groove covers a good percentage of the length of the blade.
the base is marked with "Remingtion, Dupont, RH4". The scabbard is also shown here. Made of light brown
leather with a belt loop. The sides are enforced with heavy duty cotton thread.
