WWII GERMAN MEDAL - EASTERN FRONT
This is German WWII Eastern front medal. Issued to soldiers who participated in Operation Barbarosa, the invasion of Russia.
This sample comes complete with the issue bag and document. All items are in very good condition.
The front of the medal has a German helmet with a stick grenade underneath it. The center of the circle shows the German
eagle gripping a swastika. A single laurel branch in the background. The front is slightly concave.
This is the certificate of award document that was issued with the medal. The medal was issued in an envelope, which is
also pictured here.
