WWII German Stickpin - Driving Club Membership -
This is a German WWII stick pin. These items were issued to military, civilian and political individuals for various reasons. In the case of military personnel, a stickpin was given along with a full size award. The soldier could wear the stick pin instead of having to sport the full size badge.

Germany during the Third Reich witness a rise of multiple civilian organizations such as automobile driving clubs. They served multiple roles other than pure enjoyment. They assisted with taking people to the political rallies.

The design of the stickpin consists of two separate pieces; an oval wreath of oakleaves and a main body. The pieces are attached at four different points by a small weld spot.

The main body displays the letters UDK. The name Deutschland is placed just below.
