WWII German Stickpin - 1937 Police Stick Pin -
This is a German WWII stick pin. These items were issued to military, civilian and political individuals for various reasons. In the case of military personnel, a stickpin was given along with a full size award. The soldier could wear the stick pin instead of having to sport the full size badge.

The German Police stickpin design consisted of a round metal shape with a green enamel applied to the front. A German Police eagle is applied to the center with silver paint. The letters PSO are placed just above the eagle. The date 1937 is located in the center of the badge where the number 19 is placed on the left while the numbers 37 are placed on the right. Finally, the word Roblens is placed in the lower section of the the circle.
