WWII GERMAN HITLER YOUTH SKI BADGE -
Of oval shape, hollowed center. Two crossed skis with an edelweiss flower and the Hitler Youth diamond in the
center. The diamond is of enamel construction.
The perimeter of the oval is green and has the dates 1935/36 in the upper section. The words "Mannschafstlauf
Nesselwang Bayern". This is a three piece badge.
The back has a pin in the center. Four rivets secure the skis to the oval. The back of the Edelweiss
has two manufacturer markings.
The award was given to individuals for competing on ski competitions.
