Part of the Hitler propaganda machine involved displaying Hitler's figure in as many places as possible. The item featured here is a metal building plaque with the profile of Hitler's head. Cast iron construction with a single loop placed in back so the plaque could be attached to a wall.

The bottom of the plaque has the following words written "Die Voraussetzung zur tat ist der wille und der mut zur wahrhaftickeit" which translates into "with the proper attitude courage is born". A small swastika is placed below the text. A foundry mark is stamped just below the head.

The back of the plate also has a series of words which include "Erste vom fuhrer und der reichsleitung fur sehr gut befundene nach naturstudien gearbewete plakete". The plaque was manufactured in the city of Hanover.
