EARLY GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE ARTILLERY TUNIC -
This is a Luftwaffe wool service tunic. As issued duirng WWII. Dark Blue color (typical pf Luftwaffe clothing). Four pocket
construction. The buttons are present and consists of Silver Aluminum domes with heavy pebbling applied to the front. The
collars have red tabs. This indicates the person was assigned to an artillery uni. Perhaps a Flak division. A stripe of
Silver embroidered border is applied to the collar and shoulder tabs.
The Luftwaffe eagle is of an early war with the "droop tail" design. The background is made of wool. The eagle itself has been
made of White cotton thread. A very interesting eagle.
The mid-section has a ribbon with the Iron Cross colors sewn in place. This indicates the person earned the Iron Cross.
