Of metal construction. The design consists of a wreath with multiple flowers in stems. The center has a double circle with a
crown at the top and the words: Argyll and Sutherland. The badge measures approximately 2 1/2 inches in length.
The back of the badge has an eyelt soldered at each end. A bra passes through to secure it to the beret.
The edge weapons from many countries are currently being
reproduced.
It is becoming more difficult to be able to tell the fake ones from the real ones because
the quality of the reproductions are improving. The collector must become familiarized with
the construction style and materials employed in the manufacturing of these medals.
Attention to the details is critical in order to be able to determine the authenticity of
the collectible.
