US AIR FORCE DESERT CAMO TUNIC - DESERT STORM -
This is an example of the air force fatigue tunics employed by the United States during
the gulf war. The patches used are subdued to blend with the camouflage of the uniform.
(bottom left picture) The name of the soldier is located above the top right pocket. The
US Air Force patch is located above the top left pocket. A couple of Saudi operation patches can
be found on both top pockets.
(bottom right picture) An Airman First Class patch is sewn onto the sleeve.

Uniforms were tagged in two different sections. The large tag is located on the inside of the
tunic behind one of the lower pockets. Information found on this tag include laundering and use
instructions, contract number, manufacturing date, etc.
The smaller patch is located on the inside of the tunic close to the collar. This tag contains
information abou the size and contract numbers.
