US MARINE CORPS UNIFORM - 1988
This is a Class A Marine Corps uniform. The tunic is of polyester and wool combination. Dark green color. Four pocket design
with black plastic buttons. The shirt is khaki color of cotton construction. With Khaki plastic buttons. Black metal rank
insignia placed on the collar.
The globe and anchor insignia are placed in the collar of the tunic. The
emblems are painted black and are of metal construction. As a side note,
earlier in WWII, some of the emblems were made of plastic. these are hard
to find because they would break easily.
The uniform sports a shooting marksmanship. Of chromed
construction. The cloth rank is red felt with green thread.
