CISO Camouflage Uniform - Vietnam War -
The Vietnam war saw the introduction of various types of camouflage. The United States troops have not produced
camouflage combat uniforms since WWII. The ones employed during the Korean war were re-issued from WWII.
Patterns such as ERDL and Tiger Stripes saw their official introduction during this time period. A lesser known
pattern was the Ciso camouflage.
The uniform featured here is a Ciso pattern camouflage. Of very lightweight cotton construction as to provide more
comfort in the hot weather. The pattern is similar to the Tiger Stripe with thin swashes but has a more yellow tint
to it.
The shirt has two top pockets with flaps. Green plastic buttons. No tags. Usually size and other information was
stamped with black ink in the inside of the uniform.
