WWII US Theater Made Machete-
The machete is a large cleaver-like cutting tool. The blade is typically 32.5 to 60 centimetres (12.8 to 23.6 in) long and usually under 3 millimetres (0.12 in) thick.
In many tropical countries a machete is a common and ubiquitous tool. Consequently, it is often the weapon of choice for uprisings. The Macheteros, for instance, is a clandestine popular army organization. Boricua Popular Army is the official name of Los Macheteros, which gets its name from the machete wielders of sugar cane fields of yesteryear's Puerto Rico.
The US armed forces issued machetes to their troops during WWII.

The size of this machete is approximatelly 27 inches. The handguard is of rectangular shape. The pommel
has a hole where a string can pass through. The string acts as a wrist strap, preventing the machete
from flying off the user's hand when doing multiple swings, as the case would be when clearing thick
brush or tall grass.
No scabbard comes with this piece. Standard issue machetes came with a canvis sheath.
