WWII US Army 1943 Sleeping Bag -
This is a US Army field sleeping bag. As issued during World War two. Of cotton construction with a wool liner that
came as a separate piece that could be taken off. The liner and the main body of the WWII sleeping bag came equipped
with a series of snaps that allowed the pieces to connect to each other.
The sleeping bag was fairly light. It was not the best suited item for the cold European nights. It was mummy shape
design.
