| US ARMY AIR FORCE MARTIN MARAUDER HEROES

Two proud B-26 Marauders, decorated withe the silhouttes of 11 Japanese surface vessels
on their noses, returned home on May 1943. These Marauders numbers 9 and 12, have been
honorably discharged from active combat duty in the Aleutians, where they sank a light
cruiser, two destroyers and two enemy transports. After two weeks of showing at the
Martin plants in Baltimore and Omaha and the City Hall Plaza in Baltimore, they will
return to service as Army trainers.

These are the orders given to the squadron providing them with the authority to operate the aircraft. A very interesting document
because it outlines the name, rank and serial number of each crew member.
