The purpose of this web site is to provide information about the vehicles, field gear, weapons and other pieces of
equipment portrayed in the movie "Saving Private Ryan". In order to achieve our goal we are displaying original WWII
photographs along with scenes from the movie. Due to the fact that the movie is very realistic and the items employed
in it were authentic or very good replicas, we are placing the word (Real photograph) next to the shots from the period.
