Japanese WWII Naval Civilian Pin -
The following is a Japanese WWII civilian pin for the purpose of commemorating service in the navy. The design of
the pin consists of a silver Chrysanthemum with a light blue cloth ribbon attached to it. Just below is a metal
shield with an anchor in the center and waves breaking just below.
The back of the shield has a series of Japanese characters. A section of metal is found at the very top and has a
pin used to atatch the award to a shirt. The entire length of the pin is around 2 inches.
