US Army 1951 Jacket Liner - Korean War -
This is a US Army winter liner jacket. Employed with the M1945 style field jacket.
Of canvis and wool construction. It provided warmth to soldiers facing the bitter cold
winters of the Korean landscape. The inside collar section of the jacket is stamped
with black ink to indicate information such as manufacturing date, material, size, etc.
The problem with this method is that the writing fades quickly and it is difficult to
read.
