This is an RH 28 fighting knife. As used during WWII. Manufactured by the Remington company, who also owned
the PAL company, which was a well known military knife manufacturer. This knife is part of the RH series.
The knife has a round aluminum pommel. The handle is different from most of the RH series knives. This one
is made of hard plastic/rubber. Black in color. The surface has an elegant design. Inside the design is a
checkered pattern and the name "Remington UMC".
The crossguard is small and one sided. The blade is of single edge design. The base has the word "Remington"
stamped in on one side. The designation RH 28 is found on the other side.
