WWII GERMAN U-BOAT BINOCULARS -
This is a set of binoculars used by Kriegsmarine personnel assigned to U-boat duty. Each lense is covered with
a rubber boot. The eyepieces are also covered with the same type of material. True to German quality the
optics tend to be perfectly clear. A black leather strap was issued with the binoculars.
The binoculars come in a black leather case. Of heavy duty construction with thick walls. The lid is hinged
at one end. The opposite end has an Aluminum hook with a leather strap. Two rivets are placed one on top of
the other. A Kriegsmarine eagle with the leather "M" is top center of the lid. It is flanked by a rivet to
each side.
